Dave was writer, producer and host of a daily after school variety television show aired on a CBS affiliate for many years in Lansing, Michigan.  As a ventriloquist, he was a "regular" on the Christian children's television, "Circle Square Show" in Canada produced by 100 Huntly Street for several years.  He travels world-wide ministering in camps, conferences, and churches.  His TV show,  powerful public school program "Venture In Ventriloquism," and his years of travel with the National Child Safety Council school assembly shows gave him many opportunities in communities he otherwise might not have had.  He has authored several books of resources for children's workers and also has a creative video workshop, "People Listen When Dummies Talk" teaching the art of gospel ventriloquism.

Through the years he and his wife Karen, have served in several large ministries (among them the former Heritage USA/PTL television network)...in church settings, he as the children's pastor, and she as the preschool/nursery specialist.  Reverend Winchell also trains children's leaders and teachers how to be more effective with his training seminars in churches called "Here's How."  Additionally, Dave is one of the founders of K.E.E.P Florida (Kids Evangelists, Educators, and Pastors) an organization for fellowship and mentoring of children's leaders. 

Based near Greenville, SC,  he presently travels full-time with the name Kidz Biz Minstryz and is privileged to find himself in demand as a special speaker for churches, children's ministry conferences, conventions, corporate trade shows, and training workshops as well as Family and Kidz Krusadez, camps, schools, banquets, etc. 

While some events are booked on a talent fee schedule, "Mr. Dave" may come to your church on a love offering basis.  He considers the nature of your event, travel mode, distance, and type of program needed.  He will be able to answer your questions when you make contact.   No church is too large, too small, or too far away.  In some cases he may need to build a tour or arrange for a cluster of  services in your direction.
